About Nick
Nick led a wonderful life. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps. He played semi-pro baseball for the Fremont Merchants. He devoted his working life to his passion for helping the little guy by working for forty years with the Machinists Union as both business representative and area director for Locals 1546 (Oakland, CA) and 1173 (Pleasant Hill, CA.) He also served as President of the California Conference of Machinists. He was a consumate family man and loved nothing more than being surrounded by his large family both immediate and extended. After retiring to Las Vegas with his wife, he spent the majority of his time on the golf course pursuing that elusive hole-in-one. He will be missed by all that knew him and remembered forever in our hearts and memories as Husband, Father, “Poppa”, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.
Nick was led into heaven by his parents Nicholas and Dorothy Antone.
He is survived by his ever growing family:

On December 31st, 2006 the Lord called Nick to his eternal home in Heaven.
